Smaller pods feel agile until you need identical conditions across a rotating roster. Eight-seat walls cost square meters and cable trays, yet they eliminate the whispers about who got the easier vignette.

We publish latency budgets honestly. If your building runs on consumer switches, we will say no. That conversation is cheaper before concrete is poured.

Hybrid approaches exist: run eight seats for certification weeks, partition into quads for exploratory blocks. The hardware supports both; the contract language should too.
